Anyone know which stands are open with the floodlight bases being built? I'll be coming down after lunch.

Always prefer to get runs on the board after winning the toss at Durham, interesting decision to send them in

Thought it may hoop around a little when I saw we'd inserted them. 35-1 at a rate of just under 5 - seemingly not doing too much to troubled the batsmen.

Getting twatted all over.

Machan lbw b Hastings 41. 88-2. Thank ferk for that.

Joyce c Stoneman b Arshad 43. Double strike. Both set batsmen gone. 88-3. Another before Lunch and it's our session I reckon.

Joyce a key wicket, there best player

Agree another 1, not there till lunch, but Journos there saying Sussex were treating it like a one day game

Exactly how the commentators described it - plus, a few of the boundaries brought animation from Durham fielders as if it was a chance.

seems to be common this year so far - i think the interest in one day stuff the world over is pushing the run rate up in all forms...

bbc comms link goes to warks game instead, anyone got a link?

I think this is specific to Durham's pitch and attack, there is always a ball with your name on it at the Riverside, so trying to get as many as they can while they are in.

They do that to trap the unwary.

On the web page after linking through from main BBC cricket page you can see two tabs right in the middle, click on the one marked 'Live Coverage' and the radio links for all the matches are there.
