What would you change in cricket

The rigidity of breaks. If play is delayed by rain, it's nee good having thirty minutes of play before garn off for a cuppa.

Run penalties for slow over rate. Enforceable at each interval. Test Cricket must have 30 overs per session, first class cricket 32 overs. Any side who doesn't hit that target will be penalised 5 runs for every over not bowled.

Test Matches start earlier and you bowl 100 overs in a day

DRS is standard for all, no India opting out. DRS logic is changed, the umpires call rubbish is removed. If more than 50pc of the ball is hitting then it's out (you could of course argue that if 1pc is hitting its out, but this takes into account margin of error). If you are going to use technology, then use the outcome. Don't caveat the outcome based on the opinion of the umpire

Make all T20 power plays compulsory drinking. If you don't down 3 pints in the 6 overs you get ejected

Make KP head of the ECB

Allow sledging, but if in sufficiently witty then the team gets a 5 run penalty

All forms are played in whites rather than these ridiculously lurid pyjama things

3/4 breaks per session for changing of gloves/drinks etc bloody ridiculous.

One break per session where everything has to happen. (Unless of course someone's bat snaps in half)

No sub fielders - or if a fielder leaves the field he isn't allowed back on for the rest of the innings, and cannot bat higher than 7.

Reduce DRS reviews to 1 per innings. You get it wrong - hard luck. Should only be reviewing where it is blatant anyway. They also need to look at the ball being dead rule. When the umpire gives someone out, the ball is immediately dead. If the batsman reviews and is given not out, they have lost the opportunity to get any runs. Happened last week I seem to remember when the ball would have gone for 4 leg byes and they ended up with none. If that was the last ball and 4 to win were needed it would have been carnage.

Lose the shoulder height rule. Fair enough if its over head height wide it, but bowlers should be able to bowl short stuff when they want. ODI/T20 is too much in the batsman's favour now.

Nee shots in the air. Front foot blocks are 4, back foot 6. Uncovered pitches. Sticks of rhubarb instead of bats. Fielders wear grandmothers pinnys.
