The latest thing seems to be to point to the heavens every time they score. When did they all get so religous?

Of course its 'cos they have seen some other twit do it "Oh, that looks mint, I'll do that."

Let's face it what other reason would a grown man have to suck his thumb like its a dummy for an infant..other than he saw some other halfwit do exactky on the tele. Bet some fuckers do it and dont even habe a child. You have to laugh.

And as for ripping your shirt off, knowing it will get you booked, what a bunch of thick tossers. But it was on the tele so I'd better play along.

Sometimes I hate supporting these wankers..

The real tragedy is that as managers they're handed millions of pounds to spend/throw away. It's mind blowing to think owners who've made fortunes are prepared to hand over such huge sums of money to thick as mince former players.

No it's not. It's a laudable attempt by the powers that be to at least try to put a stop to this ridiculous bellendery. As the OP says, why would you do this in the first place? And after whoever did it first, why do so many others have to copy like sheep?

Couldn't agree more.

It's not just when they score. Just before kick-off or when they come on as sub and know the cameras are on them, there they go again. A more un-Godlike bunch of tossers you couldn't meet.
I'm waiting for some muslim to come onto the pitch and unfurl a prayer mat just prior to kick-off and chant a few oaths. (It WILL happen !! )
