I should point that's not all I eat, just the average protein intake.

I'm never quite sure about my calorie intake. I'm 5'11'', 11stone9 and late twenties. I generally run 10-15k a couple of times a week and football at least once a week. Other days I train in the gym for an hour, with probably one rest day on average per week. I eat five small meals but I'm classing two ryvitas with peanut butter, a bowl of muesli, two eggs on two slices of wholemeal bread, and a ham salad as four of those meals.

You reckon I'm not eating enough?

Depends. Is your goal to be an Ethiopian catwalk model?
 


About 200g per day. Which will but me over 1g/lb of muscle (not actual body weight).

I'd have more to be on the safe side but its well documented that I struggle to stomach mountains of food. I'm constantly at my maximum level of fullness basically.
 
Currently eating 260 grams of protein for my bulk, I'm following the 1.5g per pound of body weight rule. Weighing in at 179 pounds at the moment. It's pretty easy for me to hit and along with my carb intake (350g) and fat intake (66g), the weight is slowly increasing whilst staying quite lean.
 
Still amazes me how many people complain they aren't growing whilst eating like hummingbirds on meth.

Just eat and get used to feeling bloated FFS. :lol:

Not if you're doing it properly. It you want to put size on you're going to have to accept a bit of excess. It's up to you mate, do you want visible abs or geet fuck off traps and cannonball shoulders?

I want to see my abs and put on some muscle. I don't want to be massive just athletic. Surely I can maintain abs while getting bigger. Plenty of people seem to

You don't want to be massive? Don't worry, you never will be.

You need to appreciate your body needs to go through an adaptation phase mate. It has a default setting now and you need to shock your body into growing through training and also by fuelling that recovery.

Nobody is saying you can't obtain an athletic look but you certainly need to up your calories in order to do so. Or, you could go for the Beckham 'athletic 10 yr old boy' look? :lol:
