Just been looking at the odds for the new new season

Yorkshire 3/1
Warwickshire 9/2
Notts 8/1
Sussex 7/1
Durham 8/1
Somerset 9/1
Hampshire 12/1
Middlesex 14/1
Worcester 33/1

Looks like another tight season. England call ups and injuries will have a big bearing on it but fancy Warwickshire before a ball is bowled.
 


Just as hard to pick a winner as it is to pick two teams to go down.

Been a long, bleak winter so it's great to have the cricket back.

3/1 yorks? Great value surely
 
Yorkshire cracking side on paper but before you put money on them i'd look at the fact of how many players will be away with England most of the season, still got plenty of quality players mind!
 
I was impressed by Warks last year - especially Barker, England need to call him up and if that's when Warks play Durham then that'll do nicely.

With Notts. I wasn't impressed at all.

But it all depends on the unknowns, who will get the England call and how the overseas people do.

Excellent point, how many games will they miss? Wood won't be a big miss, as he never plays.

Arshad? He was quality the 2nd half las time we won the title.

I know he is lethal against us, but he is far to pedestrian like.
 
Fancy Yorkshire strongly.

Dont think we'll go down but 5th might be about where we'll end up. Cant believe it starts next week (well the action anyway). Looking forward to being back on track with the cricket. Absolutely love the DCCC games. Lords in May as well with the bairn. Last time we went down to Lords this early in the season it snowed/hailstones!
 
Yorkies attack is more varied than Durham with the left arm of Sidearse and the leg spin of Rashid. Durham badly need a fit Harrison to give us variation.
