It takes around 30 minutes to get there just to be killed within 5 minutes having only knocked 24% off his health

Wait for the ridiculously long loading screen to bring you back to the start again minus all of your credits and health potions you used.

Some might enjoy that tedious shit but no thanks

Yes, can agree with some of that. I liked Dark Souls but in the end what you described stopped me from continuing. It should give you a save point just before a boss - come on! It was frustrating having to go back through 10 minutes of relatively easy, yet tedious, play just to die instantly at the boss.

You can pretty much just run through entire areas without killing any enemies in the Dark Souls games to get back to a boss, I imagine it'll be the same with this as well.
 
Always say this but the game isn't hard once you play it a while. Once you get into the game properly, it's still hard, but easier, if that makes any kind of sense.

Nah, well you can but you won't have any blood tokens or any health vials so will die again instantly

Pointless as I was never going to get past the first boss :lol: couldn't even knock more than 1/4 off his health

Once you learn for bosses only to hit twice at a time then to dodge it's alright from then on.

It's worth a go don't just take word for it. Most other people seem to enjoy it.

However it is a game that takes more time to get into than others so if you have limited time on an evening I wouldn't recommend it
