Only realised it was this week. Been giving packs away for nowt for the past 6 days. 15,000 coins and a massive rare gold pack up for grabs for winning the Birthday Cup.

Anyone had anything half decent ? Managed to grab IF Kane last night, and Buffon 83 rated GK
 


Ends today so crack on.. I won the normal gold cup yesterday using a team made up of players I got in the free packs.. No one brilliant and the chemistry was shit but It was nice beating people with their 100 chem teams..

Very true. Do you remember when EA used to put fun game modes into Fifa, like indoor footy?

Ultimate team is all they care about now as it is a massive revenue stream for them. I never play it, and feel like I'm paying £50 a year for a game I only play half of, as FUT has become such a massive element of Fifa. I wish they'd concentrate on things that proper football fans would appreciate. How long has it taken them to include all the grounds in the Premier? They should be doing stuff like including historically great teams, like Notts Forest that won the European cup under Clough, the Liverpool team of the 80's, Class of 92 Man Utd and Early 70's Leeds etc. It'd be immense. But they wouldn't make as much money off the sky-kids like they do with FUT.

Aye, wouldn't surprise me if they changed the name of the game to FIFA Ultimate Team 16 at some point down the line.

It actually has the potential to be such a superb game mode, but it's ruined by EA's need to squeeze as much money out of people as is physically possible; and like you say it means other parts of the game get neglected and rarely is anything new and fresh brought into the series. Hopefully, with there being so many cheats about people will stop buying packs in their millions and it'll force EA to get their finger out and give us a quality product.

You can tell they've got lazy due to having no competition whatsoever in the football market, Pro Evo probably made very slight inroads into FIFA's lead this year, but they're still miles behind. A credible alternative would soon have EA rushing to bring out new game modes and actually giving us a proper football experience.

I agree with this. 15 is first Fifa I have played with ultimate team, and I feel like because I don't play all the time I get left behind.

I don't have the time to use the transfer list to make profit, or to abuse lofted through ball.
I also think chemistry doesn't make as much difference as I feel it should.

I think it'd be great if you had to slog through the divisions, starting off with a load of part-time plumbers in a 500 seater stadium. If the only way to get better was to ACTUALLY get better at the game it would be great, but you can just buy your way to the top.

Yeah. I have tried online and faced teams with players that cost 2000000 coins or more. I consider myself rich if I gave 10000 and have never had a player that good in a pack.
