Still cant believe Villa won last night. Huge turning point for them, just before they play us. Apparently they had a very good first half
Villa were very good in the first half against WBA and Agbonlahor could have had a hat trick, two cleared off the line. They didn't start the 2nd half too bad, but WBA got back into it and Sherwood took Agbonlahor off. The penalty came from a Huttons cross and to be honest he shouldn't have even been on the pitch. Should have saw red for his studs on Berahino
They showed more commitment and effort than us though

There's always one from a set of 3 or 4 banker matches that messes up. The smart money would be on Arsenal, though it could be Liverpool or even City.

It was interesting listen to how despondent the Hull fans were on local radio about the draw last night on the grounds of their last 10 games:

Leicester (a)
Chelsea (h)
Swansea (a)
Southampton (a)
Liverpool (h)
Palace (a)
Arsenal (h)
Burnley (h)
Tottenham (a)
Man Utd (h)

It's going to be really difficult for them to get many points from that lot.

Tough fixtures

Having a bet on qpr At 11/2 is tempting for a tenner

Destroyed west brom in the first half like, should have been at least 3-0 at half time.

Can't rely on City at home these days unfortunately.

They used to just blow sides away, the likes of Leicester and Burnley, but they have a real mental weakness at home this season.

Hope Everton lose too twitchy arses if they do

Aye still in Europe as well. Stranger things have happened.

We really need the 3 promoted clubs to lose today and continue to lose confidence. Unless we somehow score a goal and beat Villa, I think they'll finish above us. They have enough talent in their squad to sneak out results, especially against sides like WBA that think they are safe.

Not losing to Hull was very important. Keeping them from an extra 2 points will go a long way in the end.

Leicester are going to get a point at Man City. 2-2.

Liverpool will roll over Burnley. And Arsenal tend to fuck up against the big team rather than the smaller ones.

Last night was a way better point for us than it was for them. They missed a big opportunity to break away from the pack, we've kept them down there and increased our chances of survival a little with another hard-earned point.
