What's the difference like?
Orals (generally speaking here) are liver toxic, fuck up blood lipids etc much more and long term are less effective. They give results quicker than say test enth which is why they're used to give a kick at the end of prep for powerlifting meets
Aye this.
I'm reading Tyler Hamiltons book atm about doping in cycling during the Armstrong era, you can probably apply the same logic to most sports at the top level, abit the drugs of choice will change slightly for whatever sport you choose.
Will get the full quote from the bloke like but was to that effect.
The incentive to 'cheat' is just too high for people not to. But even 'back in the day' where it was all about taking part, people where still almost killing themselves taking strange concoctions to improve performance. Athletes have always looked for the edge.
I'm not necessarily for allowing doping in sports (it's there regardless) but there's quite compelling arguments as to why they should be allowed with a greater emphasis then on monitoring athlete health, as all drug testing really does is risk health further
