Anyone else been watching these on sky during day on world cup channel?
Big curtly on at minute. Forgot just how fantastic he was.
 


I had the honour of playing with Clayton Lambert for 4 seasons and he tells a great story of the first ball he faced off Curtly Ambrose.
First ball of a 4 day game. Lambert taking guard and Ambrose marking out his run up.
Lambert turns to keeper, says "who is this lad?"
A "basketball player", came the reply.
Ambrose runs in, drops it just short of a length. Lambert goes back and across but soon sees the ball climbing alarmingly !
Lambert rises up with the ball which "thuds" right in the middle of his chest, knocking him over !
Keeper shouts "he's not playing basketball anymore" !
 
The master blaster and Steve Waugh been on tonight!
This series been better than watching us in World Cup so far!
Gets no better than sir Viv mind!

Played against Clayton in NYSD mostly bowling at him. Great experience, great competitor. Just doesn't happen these days due to international set ups. Pity for local lads to see how good they are. Must have played against you.
