Training programmes from 'pros'.

Anyone ever done something like this? @Titus may have iirc?

I follow a few of them on various platforms like Eric Lilliebridge and George Leeman. They're often pushing custom or 'pre-made' training programmes. Was just wondering if they were actually worthwhile things?

For example, George Leeman charges 99$ for a custom programme (all three lifts) which seems pretty steep!

Westside for skinny bastards by Joe D.

Worked as far as preparing me 1 year on to move onto something different. I basically needed more volume than that offered but it was great in terms of learning compound moves etc.

Not really a custom programme is it?

Possibly haven't made myself clear. I mean programmes where you pay them to write one for you...

Depends what you're after tbh mate. Some of them really aren't interactive with clients and it's not coaching.

Not necessarily after anything really. Making canny progress on 5/3/1 and happy with that. Don't want to flit about.

Just happened to notice a surge in this being advertised by Lilliebridge, Leeman, Brandon Lilly as well. Was wondering if it's a bit of a rip off or not.

The Ben Kapulski one I looked into but it basically demands that you train twice a day.

I think Elliott Hulse does the best thing where he charges a one off fee for access to his site and forums and he's happy to give guidance and interact on there.

Some of them are really knowledgeable but some less so. People will still go to them because they're the strongest regardless.

Yeah. For example George Leeman is the same age as me. I know he's insanely strong but he can't be that knowledgeable, yet, surely?

Some very good young coaches out there around his age, to be fair. I worked under him and found the interaction to be the main issue. I sensed he let his personal issues interfere too frequently.

Suffers massively with weight issues/depression iirc?

Yep. Looking in good shape now mind, he's dieting and getting blurry abs coming in.

I think he's had on/offs with his girlfriend and clients would get shoved to the side at times.

Wouldn't piss his girlfriend off like, I know George is a big lad but his lass is Vince Urbank's sister
