Grim. I think the the headline is needlessly provocative. But it's certainly a tricky one. Awful for all concerned.

Also, I don't think this case should be used to push any pro- or anti-abortion agenda. It's bloody awful.

I find the rape victim forced to go to term more horrific to be honest. What kind of barbarism inflicts that on people?

I agree. I'm all for 'life' but ultimately the woman needs control.
I consider myself a catholic- but no way do I agree with the Irish stance on abortion. Or Rome's outlook on many social issues.

This happened in America a couple of years ago. In the event the courts forced them to turn the life support off and when they did an autopsy they found the foetus wouldn't have survived anyway.
