Durham advert for new head groundsman

Just noticed on the clubs twitter feed that there is an entry asking for anyone interested to apply for the vacant position of head groundsman. Anyone know what has happened to Dave Meassor been there a few years.

Yeh I saw that advert. I wouldn't think Dave Measor is retirement age. Perhaps it's to do with the Academy ground. Preparing that will be a full time job and require a very experienced groundsman

If they get it. It's the last day today and still they're £15k short of the ask - so unless someone with a fat wallet is waiting until the last moment to strike ebay-style.
 
He is setting up his own company. Nothing sinister. Simply moving on with his life.
