Any good? I'm after one that's easier than lying down to use and clean, if there's anything remotely effort based I'll not use it

my mate was banging on about his new blender, its a breville [sp?] only £20 and the jug you blend in is the one you drink out of so its only the blade top that you ever have to wash [obviously the jug/bottle but you'd have to wash out a glass/bottle anyway]

I see no reason why I shouldn't get 190 for 3 which would be a rep record. I finished 5x5 having hit 185x5.

I'll probably do rack pulls, farmers walks and some light push movement as an accessory. Potentially DB press actually.

And some squats, obviously. Light stuff gearing up for Sunday as my main squat day.

Strong pull. Should get some videos hoyed up, inspire Lewberry to start deadlifting.

I'm toying with the idea of the video my mate sent of me failing 210kg about a month ago. I get it halfway up my thigh and then start dropping from my left hand and wildly jerking to get it up before it falls. Could be a laugh for everyone on here. It looks like I'm having a fit/spasm

The conversation between @Titus and @Charmless Man.

I've read it before

Does that mean the blade is in the glass you drink from?

Its not super powerful but is a piece of piss to use. Not sure how much they are now, got mine off amazon about 6 months ago and it was 20 quid.
So long as it blends whey properly and a bit fruit and veg that'll do me.

Does anyone know if making protein days in advance is dangerous?

I usually make a load and bottle it in the fridge?

Squatted 90kg for 20 reps today which is pleasing after nearly dying from 10 reps the other day.

I think what I'm going to do as far as 531 is concerned is go up to my calculated max for a single squat every session regardless of what day it is.

I've done this previously and for whatever reason I always have more energy after a comfortable but not really easy single to start off with

Brandon Lilly does this but just overnight I think. Something to do with the air in it immediately after it's been blended making it take up more space. Not sure if it's remotely true. I just leave the powder in the bottom of the blender overnight so it's ready for the morning.

That now makes me sound really lazy. Can't be arsed opening a packet of whey protein

I don't think it'd be a great idea to leave it several days mind.

Been teaching my newbie mate to deadlift tonight. Was repping 80kg by the end with great form.

Think he's gonna be good. Wants to know the ins and outs of everything too.

Would keep my actual blender for making smoothies and stuff but just for mixing shakes up this device could be a winner. Especially if it's easier to clean.

I just use mine for mixing up shakes with peanut butter etc.

Just got a decent food processor so will start making more smoothies so I can more fruit and veg in.

My mate who has been training with me cannot pull conventional at all but when I got him to try sumo he immediately had a perfectly neutral spine. I sometimes have to remind him to properly lock out but he's doing well.

I think he did 125kg +/- 2.5kg as his top set of 5 last time he had deadlifts, after maybe two months of training.

Speaking of deadlifts, if you bleed on the bar, clean it off. Just had to wipe down a bar with disinfectant because some dirty fucker left their blood all over

I typically wear trackies on deadlift day because I want to be a considerate gym user.

I have huge red bruises up my shins like. Badge of honour.

I wouldn't mind if people just wiped it off properly with disinfectant, but leaving it is just rancid.

Anyway, 180kg x 14 on deadlifts this morning.
