I thought that, but ran into one about 4 levels higher than me and some abomination set my party on fire and we died in about 20 seconds

Think I might just stick to baby quests for the time being.
Which area are you in? I got to my first 'boss' and tried about 5-6 times and couldn't really touch him, proper annoying, think I'll stick to the smaller quests too.

I've only really just been exploring the Hinterlands for a few hours, did one rift and thought I was a right boss when I breezed through it - the next one just laughed in my face.

I think I'll go back to the Hinterlands when I'm next on and just explore as much as I can and build my XP up, all of my ability points have went into Archery so far so I might switch that up a bit as well.

I've seen a lot of comparisons made to the likes of Skyrim and The Witcher, but the game I'm most reminded of when playing this is Kingdoms of Amalur; obviously just with better characters and plot.
