A Tory government, followed by Blair's Tory government, followed by this Tory government, I'm very comfortable that I know who caused the mess.

However I bumped into him once in the House of Parliament whilst campaigning to save around a 1000 jobs in the NE. I thought at the time he would at least give us 2 minutes of his time to listen to what we were there for. It went like this "Dennis we are hear trying to get support to save some jobs can we have a couple of minutes to explain" - "where are the jobs" - "in the NE" - "not my constituency" - walks off without saying anything else. If your current MP (ie in Sunderland the current labour MP) defected to UKIP, would you vote for them and why/why not?

And if the opposition MP (ie in Sunderland, a Tory) defected to UKIP, would you vote for them and why/why not?

Abuse? You're a tad to sensitive. My point was anybody could come up with any kind of bullshit and present it as fact. I have no way of knowing whether you're story is to be believed or not.

There are plenty of stories about Farage now. Not so Skinner who is put up as some sort of socialist saint. He is just another egotist who craves power. What has he actually achieved apart from throwing a few gags at black rod?
At least Farage has Ed and Dave worried and might just get them to connect back with the electorate instead of sneering at them and labeling them bigots and racists for raising their concerns whether genuine or perceived.
If you don't believe my story say so - don't post childish bollocks. Plenty of other threads for that.

In what way does his craving for power manifest itself? I'm genuinely interested and haven't experienced it.

He is 82 years old and said he would retire at 65. Everything he does is attention seeking "skinner" building bollocks. His speech yesterday attacking Reckless about Syrian doctors, Malaysian nurses etc was opportunism. A real socialist would be asking why one of the richest countries in the world is poaching critical health resources from countries that have a much greater need. But that wouldn't fit his agenda. A bit like how he wasn't interested in jobs in the NE because there was no votes in it for him.

Probably more to do with the fact that MPs are supposed to deal with their own constituencies first and refer questions pertaining to other constituencies to the appropriate MP.

I'm sure if you are as clued up about parliamentary matters as you claim then you would know that already but I suppose the facts don't fit with your sneering little story.

I dont like the SNP/Marxists but I would like to hope that they clean up in Scotland at the expense of The Liebour Party. Be canny if Farage could be some sort of power broker in all of this with perhaps the Bullingdon Boys (best case scenario really). Bound to be an EU referendum then. Clearly no one wants Liebour in power and the Liberals are finished.

Anyone got any idea the earliest we would get out of the EU when the majority votes no?

I have faith that UKIP and in particular Farage have the well being of this country at heart and will act in a decisive manner, should they get anywhere near power to reverse the move towards the destruction of the UK by the left wing loonies and the incompetence of the Bullingdon Boys.
