I wish I had an app that did that.

Are there any photography related apps that you wish were on Google Play or the Apple Store that isn't there or does not fit your requirements?

If there is, and you have a fairly solid idea of what you want, send me a PM.

Thanks.

Live long and prosper.

Kennoriser, automatically make all your shots fantastically golden

Live stream slow shutter preview... Attach the phone via wifi to your DSLR and shoot a 30 second exposure. As the exposure progresses the phone shows a second by second preview of what the photo will look like. That way you know if the exposure was perfect at 20 seconds you just change your settings and go again. Version 1.2 could also have a force exposure end feature so at that say 20 second exposure you can end it before it blows the image.

I never really do long exposures but it popped it to my head and I thought it would be useful... Probs a pile of poop really tho :D

Pity its not an in camera feature. Would be a good feature IMO

Its something I thought about before but guessed it just doesn't work

Something like this ?

Or a bit more generic than just Light Trails ?

For Canon,
I think I remember reading some of Magic Lanterns coding docs and it said something along the lines of you not being able to programmatically access the sensor data until AFTER the exposure is complete. Before that time, all you can access is the quick view data, which obviously is not good enough.

Some Sony models must be different.

Will look into it though.
