what's the unwritten rule that you hate when people don't abide by?

Sweating on machines and not wiping afterwards has to be up there

leaving plates all over - not putting stuff back
it's generally the younger ones at our gym who do this - the ignorant twats.

Not even unwritten, it tends to be pretty f***ing explicitly stated, but people leaving plates all over the place

Pure gym early this morning there were plates scattered randomly all over the floor. Took a while to find pairs of everything I needed. It really grips my shit.

Collars on both the Smith machines as well ffs!

Twats.

A lad where I train bought 2 new bars and the first thing he decided to do was load them with 510kg & 425kg... Then not put the plates back properly

Plates being left all over the place

Doing bicep curls in the squat rack, one guy at my gym does this despite all dumbbells and other bars being free. Ironic that he does them there really as he's massive on top and has stick thin legs, looks like he's never done squats or worked legs at all.

I've come to realise that some people just have genetically shit legs like. Not everyone with stick legs skips leg day.

I have calves that are probably never going to look big purely because of where the muscle starts and ends. Luckily my quads are growing a lot.

People putting plates back on different racks etc'.

One of the power racks where I train has Oly plates on it of 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 etc' which can be dead handy. Some people seem to insist on splitting them up and leaving one half of them by a bench or one of them on the farmers walk thingies.

Dicks.

Generally speaking the lower body is the hardest to grow in men due to androgen receptor density. So if anybody wants an excuse to skip leg day, there it is

People squeezing inbetween your equipment and another, especially scarey when squatting or benching, one time (in band camp) a gym PT actually squeezed past carrying a EZ bar and clipped my bar during a bench, f***ing walk around you cunt !!

I agree, but this guy clearly does skip them, or at least its never crossed his mind to train them.

People getting in your way when training is annoying too. At my gym, the power rack I use when squatting is tucked away in the corner, there is about a one foot gap between it and the wall. I was squatting the other day and someone squeezed in between the gap to pick up the padded cover for the bar that was resting against the wall when I was mid rep so they were inches away from my face, put me right off

I got into a bit if an argument in with one of the staff the other week. Plates all over next to the rack I was using.
Spent ten minutes putting them away.
Did my training had a shower came out staff member bollocked me for leaving plates out.
I told him to get the manager and asked him to watch the CCTV back
I got an apology the next day it was one of the personal trainers had used the rack after me bunch of twats

Equipped lifters in the warm up room taking ages between attempts but not offering the plates to people who need them...

Can you still get headbands these days? I never see them in a gym yet they'd save me wiping sweat away every minute.
