You use pt gui for stitching your 360s and big pans, yes ?

I was quite interested in the batch stitching feature, sounds a time saver for me

Yes I do.

I have only ever used the "batch" stitcher more as a background stitcher so I could get on with other jobs while it crunched away. I don't do that anymore as it now uses the graphics card processor rather than the PC processor to do the work and flys along even on the Gigapixel jobs.

Will I need the pro version to do 360s?

You don't need it, but it will certainly make life easier (I started out with the basic version but upgraded).

The masking, I guess you can get around by exporting as layers and using photoshop, but the viewpoint correction if you want to fill in the nadir and do a full 180x360 is invaluable as you don't need a perfect straight down shot (ie you can move the tripod a couple of feet and take an angled shot to fill in the hole). Irrelevant if you aren't planning on the 180 degree up and down and just want a 360 degree "cylinder".

Looks like the batch features are only in the pro version as well.
