Hello all,

I am happy to be labelled as a philanthropist and believe it to be, usually, a compliment.

However it does seem that a stigma is attached to this and that I am, amongst other things, considered a socialist / hippy and even "religious nut"

What are your experiences in this ?

I used to collect stamps as well. And I'm often labelled a socialist or a hippy.

I let other people slice bread for me then give the profits to the disadvantaged who can't afford new trousers.

Great. Welcome to working class Britain. We mostly do charity work for companies to enrich the lives of southerners and rich investors.

I don't have a problem with people earning a decent, living wage. It's not all about what you take home though, whether from corporate enterprise or otherwise.

I can't pronounce "thr" properly so I hate your kind, as well as popular tv show through the key hole, the Michael Jackson song thriller and the beautiful song bird (and itchy penis disease) thrush.

It's fair to say that three is most certainly not my favourite number.

Good luck with your new profile, whoever you may be.

I now have a brilliant cover of thriller in my head as sung by Jonathan Ross.
