Martinez's wigam team conceded 9 TWICE........obviously he's now on the dole and considered a laughing stock.
Who cares about Martinez. When did he ever manage safc like? Managing shite like Wigan and nee fucker gives two shites about what happens.

If Everton had had 9 put past them the fans would have lynched the bloke. Completely different kettle of fish managing Wigan and safc.

Which wasn't really that big compared to the other teams that window was it?

Not sure. I think Short has learnt that you can spend very little money in this league and still survive, some terrible teams in this league, you've got to be pretty shit to actually get relegated from it.

Can't take you serious with that avatar mind. I'm struggling with this blame Gus/blame the players. Gus kept us up/the players kept us up. If the players and performance today and last week were to blame then is it not possible they were responsible for the turnaround and great escape? I assume if depends which camp you are in.

Last season during the great escape we went out and played with purpose in those 2 home games vs WBA and Cardiff. That purpose just isn't there anymore. Poyet just seems happy to not lose games this season. We don't turn up till we go behind unfortnately.

Imo the tactics are to blame. Poyet said after the game today we pressed in the right areas and we'd been working on it in training. We didn't press anybody until they were 20 yards from goal ffs. We seem happy to plug gaps for 90 minutes. The West Brom game was a sign of things to come for this season.

It's mostly just on this forum though. People who live in the real world aren't so dramatic/childish.

The logic on here seems to be that anything good we do under him is luck, anything bad is all his fault. They're clueless so just try to ignore them.
Hmmmmmmmm , " anything good ? Hmmmmmmm, nope. Can't think of anything .:p

Yes but to be honest mate sacking him now could be seeing us looking (or at least some) for another replacement before May! I don't have the answers and I was in attendance at all of those games last year. Man City, Chelsea, Man U as well as the Spurs, Swansea games etc. still not sure what happened - it just "clicked into place"

It might happen again - it might not. I'm not sure we will get lucky twice. Some of them might not be up for the fight again. Thing is even if a new boss comes in, there's the same squad and (lack of) funds. At least they might have a transfer window. No guarantees.

The only way things can be turned around is if the players genuinely aren't performing for the manager and would do for the new one. I refuse to believe this conspiracy as for all their errors and limitations, I'm hoping they are professional at all times.
