I simply cant do gym after work, if I do its only cardio. Pre-workout energy drinks have worked for me for years but looking at them, they have about 280 calories in them. Recently started overdosing on caffeine pills as replacement.
i do cardio in the evenings and weights in the morning but that's more because it is packed in the evening till near chucking out time. i'm lucky mind cuz my shift fits around it perfectly and i live about 2 minutes from my gym.
Need to get myself sorted - but need a kickstart to get me going.

plenty of advice already been given on this thread so not much to add - i'll just say don't let it get you down if you end up sacking it off a few days in a row- the harder you are on yourself the easier it is to carry on moping, if you need a break here or the world conspires to stop you just promise yourself to get back on it when you can - feel good when you manage to go instead of feeling bad when you can't. even if you're just sneaking in a quick 20 or 30 minutes here or there it is a start and leads to good things.
