FIFA 15 Ultimate Team

Managed to get a few games in. Can not get out of Div 6. Switched formations a few times and now am in need of suggestions. Have 180k to build 2 teams, any formation. I am open to ideas if anyone has time to waste! Just noticed that Costa is down to 77k on xbox. Always wanted to try him.

I'm a massive fan of 4-2-2-2. Because Wingers are terrible in Fifa 15 - People know how to tackle in the higher divisions and the cut inside finesse shots have been nerfed anyways. Crosses are now being figured how to execute properly but it's still 2 wasted players if you put them on the wing - Your 2 CAM's will sometimes run wide anyways to run into space.

Always find CAMS are hard to find, good ones anyway. Are the two CDM'S good enough to stop the midfield getting overrun?

It depends what league you're using innit. For the best EPL CAMs it's probably Rooney and Fer. With Remy and Costa up top.
CDM's are great with the "High Pressure" tactic they'll link up play with the defenders and without the ball they'll push forward.

The tactic is flexible too, as said before your CAMs will sometimes run wide and crosses are being figured out now.

That'll play like shite.

If you want to play with LM and RM's then go for it, for the first time in UT I'm using 41212 and it's so well balanced - and I have no problem getting the wide players involved. If you build a proper team and play proper football you'll get results.

It's okay. The midfield ain't the greatest
Personally I'd use Jackson Martinez over Ramos and use a full Serie A midfield - Only Gustavo is worth keeping there but he's in the wrong league - to balance out the chemistry if you have the coin for it.
If Naldo's chemistry suffers as a result, you can just get Chillieni - who's better anyways.

I picked Costa up for a decent price on Monday, he's brilliant like
 
Right, I've just bought a ps4.

I'm starting from scratch so could some kind soul give me a few pointers on how to get a decent side please.

Make sure you use the coin boosts, Think it's R3 when in the UT menu. On one of the levels you unlock 1k for every game you play for so many games. Make sure you do all of them available including the 200 coins one.

Definitely this.

You can easy put together a solid Premier League side dirt cheap, some of the 500 coin players are excellent.

Fabianksi (350)
Billy Jones (500) Reid (350) Caulker (350) Shaw (800)
Mulumbu (350)
Henderson (500) Fletcher (350)
Tadic (600)
Welbeck (1k) Bony (1k)​

If you're any good you will walk the first few divisions with that side and it'll only cost you about 6k. You can just discard the players when they run out of contracts and buy them back because they're so cheap.
 
Just played some idiot who held team mate contain and A all game so there was two players charging at me everytime I got the ball and there was literally nothing I could do. Tried playing it around him but didn't work. Obviously he won in the last minute.

They've absolutely fucked player switching on this after the latest patch like. Not to mention it's gone from it being a challenge when it comes to defending which is how it should be to now where it's just like FIFA 14 again where you just need to let the AI do all the defending for you. Well done EA.

Replace Jones for Rafael who will cost about 900'ish and Mulumbu for Tiote who's the same in cost but twice the player and I'll agree with that team
