I doubt it as the biggest pay day that the WICB gets is when they play us in the Caribbean. That's the main reason there was so kuch kerfuffle over the venues

It makes you wonder if there will be any impact on England in the WI. For example, the players or perhaps some of them or perhaps the best players have caused a lot of trouble for the WI Cricket Board perhaps leading to bankruptcy. Even if that is avoided will the WI Board discipline any players? India have already said that this issue won't impact on WI players with regards earning their dollars from the IPL.

The West Indies board is likely to respond by suspending its senior players but that is unlikely to assuage the BCCI.

Why didn't they just drop there whole squad and call up players who wanted to play for that wage?

Would of got hammered but would of saved themselves all this hassle.

They've done that before, played a 3/4th team against Bangladesh and lost.

I read they offered but the Indians refused on the basis that business who ultimately provide the cash would feel cheated and I can see why.

Ah Ok, fair enough, least they tried

Sad like, I know the Windies players don't get paid anywhere near as much as England, India and Oz especially, but should have more pride in playing for their country

Hoping to go to the Barbados test in May, hopefully still on

did the windies plays get that 20 million dollars from that stanford match?

also most of the big names travel the world cashing in on T20, surely they could play for the windies and still have enough money.

i hope its resolved for all you lads heading out there but i feel, you will see a weakened windies team, which may still not be a walkover for england post the possible world cup debacle
