I recall a Sun game at West Ham (think it was on TV) in 91 or 92, think we got stuffed 6-0? I'm sure we missed a pen near the end as well?
October 1992. Shit day out, just looked on statcat there was only 10k odd there.

0 v 8 @ Watford
2 v 5 @ Cardiff circa 1978
The 1 v 6 @ Coventry was only about 5 away games before the Watford one IIRC.
1 v 6 @ Notts County 1983
1 v 6 @ Blackburn circa 1986

also didnt we get thrashed off WHU 0 v 6 circa 1992?

For my local team (Stirling Albion), I travelled up to Dingwall for a match against Ross County a few years ago in the cup.

Lost 9-0.

Super.

I suppose I should consider myself lucky - the last utter pasting I witnessed in the flesh was 87 or 88, 5-0 at West Ham. Arrived late and the turnstile operator said was I sure I wanted to as it was 2-0 , I sneered at his poor humour and got to the top of the stairs just in time to see the third.

Oh, that and a couple of years later (88-89?), 4-0 reverse at Boro where we were utter gash.

hmm seems Boro was 3-0 in 89-90, felt like more, maybe being in the wrong end didn't help it seem bigger.

7-1 at Everton
6-0 at West Ham in early 90s (0-0 when Goodman had to go off for stitches, came back on at 2-0, and we missed a pen late on - I've been told this as i was canny mullered)
6-0 at Derby in the League Cup 1990 ish, great day/night out tho.

Lots of 5s and 4s.

Was down Saturday but it didn't hurt anywhere near as much as Norwich last season did. Relegation seemed imminent.

Went to The Dell in 1974/5(?) season by train - long journey got there to find out it was on Match of the Day and then got stuffed 4-1.

7-2 at Chelsea
5-1 at Mags
5-0 at Chelsea
4-0 at Swansea
8-0 on Sat

Maybe one or two more 4-0 defeats that I cant remember.

8.0 at the weekend. 6.2 away to Chelsea and Chelsea again (5-0) 5 - 1 to Man U when Perez was sent off.

of those the 8.0 was the hardest to stomach.

was it 7, 2 ? when Paul Bracewell dicked about in the centre circle, dribbled it half the length of the pitch and then lost the ball for them to run through and score?
Oh I forgot about that Man U one, when cantina scored that goal they always show, I was at that too.

The chelsea game was not that long since, I think bent scored.

7-1 at Everton
7-2 at Chelsea
Was at both them games. The Everton game was the best away day I've had barring Barnsley in Keanos era. The banter from the home fans was tremendous and the crack in the ground chanting away all the way through was first class aswell.
