We played Norwich week after mate & won 4-1 Rowell got 2.,

You have to remember that there was less people going to the games. The press would have been very critical and thos eof us that went and our home fans would have been up in arms. But to my knowledge it was never caputured in glorious technicolor except on some shoddy private club DVD that Watford probably made. The whole world wasnt exposed to the crap on offer where we were f***ing tortured BTW by the likes of Blissett.

And people nowadays think direct football can't be exciting and that you need to pass it around the back to be a good team.

Get it forward to the wingers as quick as possible. Cross the ball 30 times in a game and get 2 big fuckers launching themselves at everything.

No I was there....if Chris Turner had not made sum great saves it was 11-0 easy... It was so bad we started cheering in the goals ...then we sang no stop ALAN DURBAN RED & WHITE ARMY ..... but after the match I was still in shock I just witness a bunch of rubbish should have drop Sunderland as my team back them but I didn't because I love them win or lose. No different today. So all you bed wetters out there we did not go down that season and we bounced back to beat Norwich City 4-1 next week.....This time I can see a Sunderland victory at home. It's going to predict a victory.... Sunderland 2 Arsenal 1 you book mark this!!!!:lol::lol::lol:
 
Cowie should put his hand in his pocket and replace Durban with someone who knows what he's doing. What about lawrie mac? Done well at Southampton who are a smaller club. Give him some money up here and show some ambition.

Did not go to match but went to see F ing Elton John at City Hall and he took the piss asking if any S/land fans in crowd etc.. not happy!!!
 
I was there and if Rowell hasn't missed a sitter on 6 minutes before Watford scored it would have been a different score line - probably 8-1!

Remember it well - a one on one ! Mccoist also missed a great chance i think. Turner was defo mom tho !
