Video replays for Refs?

A step too far in my opinion. I'm all for goal line technology but I think this will drastically take away from the matchday experience.

Slippery slope like - what about goals from free kicks? I bet stoke scored more goals from long throws than they did pens in their pomp - would need all throws reviewed anarl.

The game would never be on..... Which is maybe what the tv wants. Fuck the game, let's have a 5 hour match filled with adverts and viewing figures.

I'd rather more went into stopping refs being biased and cheating.

This mate - stop refs giving the 'stupid' decisions. I'm happy enough with mistakes tbh, we all make them, adds a degree of human element t the game. But there are plenty of 'easy' decisions given.

In any other sport you get disqualified or punished for cheating in Football you are rewarded for it or sometimes mildly warned not to do it again.

We need to do something to stop the cheating, throw out bans after matches for dives, BIG fines for blatant cheats not just take away their pocket money for the week.

Exactly spot on especially about bans after watching matches, what makes it worse is managers defending them players when there is simply no defence.

You are right in football when players cheat the ref gets the blame for not spotting it,in other sports the players would get punished

Great idea in principal but there how's whys when and who's of how you go about it are a absolute minefield and nowhere near near as simplistic as some people would have you believe

It should be for all goal scoring plays. anytime a goal is given the 4th official or someone in a video roomroom can mic down to the official to say if the ball crossed the line, it was offside, hand balled etc etc. but it should only be on plays where the ball has crossed the line. odds are it could be resolved by the time the celebrating is done or ball is back to the center curl and would not eat up a lot of time. Would also leave most of the decisions to the officials. too much money involved in the game now to not get at least the goals/score right.
