According to Ryder they have had the official team photo taken today and Pardoo is in it. Ashley is really starting to take the piss now.

“When the gaffer sat down with his backroom team, deciding on his order, he asked fitness coach Tony Strudwick what he was getting – and told him he’d take it if it looked good.

“When the meals arrived, Pards said to Tony, ‘Yours looks better, I’m having that,’ and swapped plates.

“I told him you can’t just take someone else’s dinner. Pards retorted, ‘When you’re the king, you can do anything’.” _ King Pardew

Eeeets guuud ta bee da king...

They really believe if they protest then fat Uncle Mike will listen. The reality is he couldn't give a shiny poo what they think, he's more likely to dig his heels in than sack him.

I don’t think he’ll take any notice of the mags fans. What he will take notice of is results, and if it looks like Newcastle are in (grave) danger of relegation he will sack him, IMO. Early days at the moment like, so I assume he is safe for now.

Im starting to belive that big mike is actually a sunderland fan on a wind up

I don’t understand why anyone would think this. Without Ashley, they would be in a much worse position. What I would say is, Ashley will look for any money making opportunity from the club, without a concern as to what the fans think (sports direct arena for example).

Pardew must be absolutely bricking it before Saturday's game knowing the level of hatred and venom that he is going to have to face regardless of the result on the pitch . There's going to be some good entertainment before, during and after that match !
Probably secretly wants to be sacked now.
( Hope he stays as long as possible meself)

Heard a rumour the other day that Butch Wilkins is bein lined up as a new coach to help out Pardew

I bet the phone Box's will get boarded up before then :D

You really need to keep people like Mike Ashley on your side. Very bad enemy to have as the mags are finding out. He saved that club from being in a big pile of poop and people conveniently forget that along with his interest free (not really!!) loan. The mags essentially need to realise that when they were in the Champions League and Man Utd were there rivals that that wasn't a true reflection of the club's financial prowess and the club was being run into the ground.

It's a sound decision, really! Pardew is managing the club through a difficult transition period in which the owner, Mike Ashley, is prudently book keeping. The arrogant mentality of fans who believe they deserve to be in the CL is one of misguided entitlement. Like safc, they have won nothing for generations and there never was any place for them the top table. They are learning a lesson in humility and like spoiled children, they are throwing around their Tommy Tippee beakers. Well done Mr Ashley, in expounding the virtues of sensible, progressive and prudent accounting. I shall enjoy watching the tantrums as the owner guides the club to live within its means. :)

They might look poor at the moment, but is that Pardew's fault? Would any other manager do any better while having their best players sold? Pardew almost got them into the champions league a few years back, you would think that would buy him some grace from the fans.
