Trouble is the forecast is for rain on Thursday, so we need to bowl them out twice in two days and put on a score ...... looking tricky like ...

Fully agree about the lack of information given to spectators at the ground. I was at the ground at 10:20 when we were informed light was poor and umpires would inspect at 10:30. Next announcement was not till 11:30 and all that said was the umpires were monitoring the situation.

I stuck it out till 2:20 before giving up, game must have been called off around 3:00.

Didn't hear any announcement and I missed the bus so was stuck at the stop for half an hour and there wasn't a mass exodus from the ground ..... so probably called off after 3:45 pm ..... never mind there's always tomorrow ...
 
Just noticed Pujara playing for Derby...... Is it his first game?? Seems a strange one given they've got nothing to play for.
 
If the umpires are consistent with the light we might not get on again today....or tomorrow...or Thursday. Looks gloomy all week.
 
Northants have won the toss and will bowl.

Stoneman, Jennings, Borthwick, Richardson†, Stokes, Collingwood*, MacLeod, Muchall, Aaron, Rushworth, Chase.

Any predictions?? Reckon we'll lose a wicket before 11am. Probably Jennings.

good side that like. seems harsh on coughlin but hopefully that will just spur him on to great things next year, probably going to play the final if aaron is not eligible. wonder if macleod will play at lords, obviously need to find room for breesy.

not seeing the conditions at all makes it hard to judge, i'll say we bad slowly and cautiously and make it nearly to lunch before losing a wicket, possibly two.
