Buying a PS4

Switched from 360 to ps4. Partly cos I won one in an auction. Not enough games about on the new gen unless you like the usual ea fodder or indie games. Last of us, trials and fez are all I have. Haven't even put a disc in the drive to check it works yet!

Big plus of the ps4 is the last of us being the greatest game of all time.

But it's a shinier version of a last gen game so not that big of a plus.
 
Agree with what people have said about PS4..superb machine. And again..the Last of Us one if the greats.

Also..remote play on Vita is incredible if you want to play PS4 while your Mrs watches shite soaps etc or you want to play under the duvet at night.
 
I switched from PS4 from Xbox 360.

Main reason was I wanted a real games console with no gimmicks.

Have you tried last of us on remote play? I have a vita but not used remote play as much as I thought I would.

Wouldn't be getting it strictly for Fifa as that is daft, I was just swayed towards getting one as my mates have PS4s so I know I'd get more use out of it than I do with my 360 at the minute.

Could be wrong but they seem to be winding things down for the last gen versions so it seemed better to go for it than be stuck with something inferior, but if that's not the case then its probably not worth bothering. Although I'm sure the SOL would look lovely on next gen Fifa ;)

Not into the COD shooter shit at all so I was angling to see if there was anything else decent out there. Cheers again though, something to think about anyway!

Last of Us is class mind and A Sony exclusive.

It's a canny bit more powerful that the XB1 like. If you want a console (XB1/PS4) that runs a game better, then the PS4 will run it at a higher framerate and/or higher resolution, with increased graphical doodadery.

Just the way it is.

Ah right that was my concern. That it would be fiddly. I will finish my first play through on big tv for full experience then replay it on vita while our lass watches shite tv.
