Digital prices are a rip off on consoles, I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't far off that

To think they aren't having to pay for packaging, disc, printing or delivery to the shop...charging more is a f***ing pisstake. I've not got a One yet - just read about this new
preload feature.

Aye, they announced Destiny is available for pre load, was either £50 or £55, or there's a special edition which was around £70 I think. For something that you can't trade in that's ridiculous. Apparently Fifa 14 is still £50 on the Microsoft store, think it's the same on Sony store

Hopefully they sort our career difficulty. It's a f***ing pisstake.

Professional. Easy as owt.
World class. Any old fucker can dribble like Messi and Millwall keep the ball like Barcelona. It's completely unrealistic.

Why can any old **** like Sammy Ameobi play Pirlo style through balls? It's f***ing bullshit when Wanyama can't make a 5 yard pass.

Complaining about a Beta completely defeats the purpose of it

Has Career Mode still got that awful Scouting system?

CD Key websites are selling the Ultimate edition for £29 and there's a loophole where you can play 48 hours before original release date. Think I'll be having a dabble of that.

Can't wait to play in the SoL, the Eastpoint Arena is shite, as are the majority of the SAFC player models from what i've seen.

NHL demo is out now

Is this any good? Been wanting to try an NHL game for a while as i've been watching it more over the past few years but never bothered. Was gutted when I missed out on the Tesco misprice on NHL 14, people were getting it for £5 or something daft.

demo is canny, as are the fights

Finally played the beta. Anyone else able to play other modes even though they only give them a certain beta mode. Eg I was given Seasons Mode but can access the UT mode.

they are a rip off however if you are lucky/clever you can pick up download codes on ebay and get them a lot cheaper. I got titanfall for £20 and my mate got fifa for £30

I noticed people mentioning shop.to to preorder games... why not Amazon? FIFA15 UltEd seems to be cheaper there?

This. I've never once traded in a fifa, you're lucky to get a £2 for it by the time the next one has came out.
I guess if you use it right up to the new one then fair enough. I've always stopped playing it around the end of the real footy season so always got £10/15 for it on eBay. I like to have a few months away from it so the new version feels new and fresh, 15 will be my first downloaded one as I'm getting the Xbox one bundle. I don't mind not been able to get rid of it cos I'm basically getting it for nothing as part of the bundle. Really looking forward to it as I'm gagging for a footy game..

I'd shoot every knacker that paid over 40 quid for it every year if I could, but sadly there aren't enough bullets currently in production judging by how many gouged eyeballs there are on the streets every year.

Paid £16 on PS4 and even then I'm still regretting it. Takes a few days at most to spot all of the cut corners, bugs, glitches etc, and they can't be unseen. But I suppose it's an easy £30 profit when some tool buys it off me on ebay.

You see I never get this. Okay you pay £40 quid for a game that isn't radically different from the game before it. However most people play it, what, 200+ hours over the year if not more. So that's like 20p an hour. Where else can you get that sort of enjoyment for less. This goes for other games too obviously.

Each to their own but you have to weigh up the fun you have vs the price you pay.
