i've just finished all the single player stuff on hard - tropheys galore!

anyway, i'm just starting off in mp. my teammates must f'kin hate me cos i'm dogshit in all aspects atm - i make a decent healer but even if i shoot someone in the back of the head they still seem to kill me first lol
 
Ignore the custom load outs for now and figure out which of the pre set ones suits your style of play. Also, craft like mad at every opportunity and hang out at the back to heal folk. You'll still be popular and earn parts even if you die. Remember to mark targets with r3.

been mostly playing the second game - no respawns & noticed that everyone seems to sprint off at the start - is it good to just sprint off with them or sneak everywhere?

I play this one. They sprint off first to find a craft box. Best to go with them and stay with someone where you can, at least until you know the maps better. If you're last man standing, get to a box if you can as you'll be given loads of ammo, bombs etc!

What's your name on there? I'll watch out for you :)
 
what i'm finding particularly raging at the minute, is the fact that when the game realises the server is down, it has a tendancy to crash.

New scoped weapons are now available and patch 1.08 is coming for The Last of Us PS3 while a live update hits Remastered players.

For PS3 players, patch 1.08 will be made available globally over the next 24 hours. PS4 will a get live update during this time.

These updates will make available the new scoped weapons. The free maps are coming out later this week alongside additional fixes for the PS4, including updates to improve matchmaking times.

New Weapons

  • Variable Rifle
    • Fast and accurate rifle that downs in four shots. Press x while aiming to use the variable scope zoom!
  • Scoped Semi-Auto
    • Scoped version of the Semi-Auto Rifle.
  • Scoped Full-Auto
    • Scoped version of the Full-Auto Rifle
  • Scoped Burst Rifle
    • Scoped version of the Burst Rifle.

never really played much online stuff but kinda fancy it with this, are you just chucked in with everyone else or is there a kinda beginners area where you can learn without getting constantly killed by some snotty nosed american teenager?

Not much of a creche mate, but they do try to balance the teams. Join our mythical private match if PSN starts working and I'll show you the ropes for a minimal fee. ;)

Going to try to see if online is working and if so, get some private matches going if anyone is game?

Update: Its working bitches, anyone fancy a game?
