It will be interesting to see what happens to the police officer, I imagine it could well push the Ferguson community over the edge but then again it would be on lockdown within minutes.
 
I know it was only a TV show but the speech by Jeff Daniels in 'The Newsroom' was brilliant, exactly what I've been thinking for years. The arrogance and hubris of so many people trotting out that 'greatest country' bollocks, set against the potential of what could be possible starting with a bit more self awareness on the part of those who say this.
 
I like and admire Jon Stewart.But the likes of him and say,Richard Dawkins are very brave to come out and say stuff like that in a country where everyone can get a gun.Including the extremists and crazies.

Aye - Bill Maher often makes fun of the extreme hate mail he receives.

There's a very good one man play / film with Eric Bogosian called 'Talk Radio' about an outspoken radio personality who ends up getting shot by a mental listener. It's based on a true story of a bloke who was in Dallas and I think got shot leaving the studio.
