Good player on his day and needs to show consistency.

He's only underrated because he fucked up too many times last season and blames everyone else bar himself.
He rarely fucks up, I can't think of many errors from him in the 3 years he's been here. The critisum I have of him is sometimes he doesn't do enough but he's been excellent since last Christmas

It also seems that a lot of people forget he is a wide player by trade who was shoehorned into a central midfield position through necessity. I think he has only had 2 full seasons in a central position (if that), struggled to adapt at first but finally seems to have come to terms with the role and looks a lot more comfortable there now. Great piece of business to get him signed up on a new deal, will be a key member of our 1st team squad for another 2 seasons.

I was pleasantly surprised when he re-signed.

We need to keep our experienced players if we are ever to be an established Prem club.

Hope the likes of him and Catts stay till the end of their careers.

Pity O'Shea and Brown are getting on as these players would form a very good experienced core going forward.

To be fair he said the same thing about the teams performance but looking at the game, we could (should) have had 2 goals in the first half and both from his freekicks...... Second half was much better from the team as a whole and Seb was excellent and has already been said on this thread, he has set his standard!!
I thought one of the reasons we improved in the second half was because Seb had been told to push on a lot more. This gave some support to the front 3 in the centre and made it easier to keep the ball.

Was a bit worried when he signed his extension that all the good work he did at the back end of last season was just that, a late push for a contract, but If Sat is anything to go by he's keeping it up which is great, but as said that's the standard which must be maintained, he and Catts were quality.

I can't say I've been his biggest fan over the years, but he's excellent in the latter stages of last season and had a good game against WBA. I hope he proves the doubters wrong.
