What annoyed me the most is they had never proper prize pool for cup wins and league position finishes. And that terrible horrible Scouting system but other than that it was the same Career Mode ever since Fifa existed.

I do like how the people who are defending PES to the absolute death in that thread are trash-talking Fifa, not biased at all I'm sure. :lol:

That's the problem though. They can't even put the effort in for a decent transfer system in place. How do you make a team when you can't even see the ratings of players? Even after you scout it's useless.

Whoever designed single player clearly didn't know what they were doing and it was never patched either!

It was definitely the weakest to date. They should of added current ratings and potential ratings when you've finished Scouting proper but other than the other problems it was just a plain career mode.

I'll be buying it, and probably a next gen console to play it on too. As usual, I blame both EA and everyone else in the games industry for refusing to give me a proper alternative. Bastards.

Apparently PES is going to be decent this year and have a mode very similar to Ultimate. Team.

Just watched a video of some goals on PES15, it looks alright actually. Graphics are nice, and it looks less scripted.

Coming out 7 weeks after FIFA is suicidal though for me.

A dumb release date but that has been the problem with recent games, rushing a broken game out just to beat Fifa to market. They could do with taking a year out to get back to where they used to be.
 
I tried pro evo 14 earlier this year, it was ok but I like to use the lads online and no fucker used any team with similar ratings. Only ever came up against real Madrid, and I bet it'll be the same on this years. FIFA 15 all the way for me.

Doesn't this happen on Fifa? Not played one for years, this will be my first for a long time. Never done ultimate team!

No, playing seasons online on FIFA matches your team star level so you only play teams on par with the team you use. Ultimate team is based on a league format and everybody starts with a load of mostly crap/average players. Then it's up to you who to buy to build your team up..

You'll get banned if you stream/share pictures etc, part of the agreement (EA will be keeping an eye on social channels etc!) Just a heads up o:
