Landscape spots near Albufeira?

The missus has booked a bog standard holiday for bog standard people

Probably just concentrate on the best rocky bit of coastline....

Were there in April, stayed at alfagar... Local beach is lovely and some rocks in water and high cliffs (you can access through hotel grounds or also small local rd) - that is just along from the strip and much quieter. Also a nice beach at Alhos de agua, another ten min away from the strip... Alex Rae has a place there, bumped into him one night!!

Albufiera itself was v busy so not sure if that would be any good, unless you want people in the pics!
