Durham vs Warwickshire

It's an embarrassment, traveling Warks supporters will be charged for a ticket and then charged for a seat to sit down.

The game is a good idea in principle, but badly thought out and organised.

David Harker, Group Chief Executive at Durham CCC said "It's an opportunity to go and play in front of a new audience"
"I hope that we'll get a lot of people to the game that ordinarily might not venture into a cricket ground, but would want to come along and join in the festivities at South North

Off his head that bloke

Agree with you entirely but my you havent half turned into a dissenting voice lately!

:) you won't find me having anything good to say about Durham playing first class cricket in a totally different county that was never part of the old boundaries and who have their own minor counties team. If they want to want to play at a different ground then by all means play at traditional old Durham grounds such as Darlington/Stockton for example.

The fact Durham had the cheek to charge for seat hire (no other out grounds charge), then they pick a ground that had limited disabled car parking and car parking in general, limited disabled access in the ground, a ground that wasn't selling alcohol and charging £4 for a bus as well just a total shambles. Very little thought went into it.

Anyway, a very good win today, one that was much needed.
