Whats considered the best (& open for business) at the moment?
Starstreams is very good but closed for new members.

Any others of similar quality? Cheers.

Whats XBMC?

This is for a Celtic supporting mate anxious to watch tonights game- I use starstreams.

Probe best having a look through the xbmc thread on smb front page rather than my amateur explanation. Ask him if he has it he may know. If not star streams could his friend in the very short term

Very hard to get games on Sopcast anymore, they tend to shut the stream down within minutes.

AceStream was the best for p2p streaming last season. Of course, make sure your ISP does not engage in p2p throttling as it will constantly buffer otherwise.
 
yes i used acestream thru wizi - sometimes it wasnt the best but other times the quality was jaw dropping and once id rigged the laptop up to the telly it was as good as the real sky feed - but free

I paid for plus1 last year and it's good but free streams through sopcast or acestreams were as good as. I also found p2p far easier to run through xbmc than plus1 through the browser

Admittedly there's some bloody awful free ones out there too

When you say 'awful to use' what do you mean ? At present I find it impossible to use in XBMC !!

How do you go about it ???
