I've been roped into the Yorkshire one and am shitting meself about it. I'm really worried about the shit preparation I've had. Basically concentrated, rightly or wrongly, doing HIIT(?) training - Hasfit 90-day programme and I'm up to week 7 - I've only been for a few 3 mile runs.

I know I'm gonna struggle and thats fine I just don't want to embarrass myself by dying.

Anyone done one of these?? Is it possible to do one with such little prep?

You're not going to be running 3 miles at a time so don't worry about that. Having a team spurs you on as well.

I've just been sent the course layout - 20 obstacles over 11 miles so I'm not expecting to run anything more than 1 mile at a time. I'm probably overthinking it like but just want to complete it.

I did the north west one last year. The most running you do is at the start say about 2 miles after that its pretty much an obstacle every .5mile

Im a TM vet! Completed 3 in total! You ll love it. Its a challenge not a race, no rush, just get round course in your own time. Great atmosphere all way round and enjoy your beer at end, think its ginger grouse this year - lush! Enjoy!!!!

Loved it mate. Think it's just the worry of getting injured on the first couple of obstacles and not finishing that was getting to me. Absolutely fantastic time, did all the obstacles, great teamwork and the Ginger Grouse was lovely. Did you do this one?

I done it mate, was my 4th mudder. Great as always although it was much harder than Scotland a few weeks previous, mainly due to the constant running up and down the moors!

Well done mate - it was very hilly like, saw a lot of lads suffering from cramp - was surprised I didn't as the little amount of running i did was all on the flat Couldn't believe some lads who finished it and then went round again!

Just booked the Midlands one for the 30th May - can't wait
