This was one of those nights where it looked really promising for a great sunset which just never really happened. However it was realy quite still and I didn't need to wait very long before there were some decent reflections on the River Tyne.

I used my Lee Sepia filter to warm the scene. Also used a ND 0.6 soft grad.

I welcome constructive feedback but prefer no banners / awards, thanks.

You will have to see AB22 about that, he is the group owner.

Some lovely stuff on your site though, no mocking from me.

Sounds like a great sixties motown band yeah?!?!

This was my first visit to Seven Sisters / Copt Hill at Houghton-le-Spring. The sun was really strong and shooting in AV mode I had to dial in some negative exposure to save the sky, even when using ND grad filters. That obviously means losing some detail elsewhere, e.g. in the trees, however I'm still relatively happy. Kind of.

I used my Lee Sunset filter to warm the scene.

Was this the one on North East news with a poppy field shopped in? ;)

Nice shot without the poppies like :)

I was talking to the guy who took that photo on Saturday. Planes were the airshow last year and the poppy field was babrough

Have you got anything else as blatantly commercial as this Paul?

Eventually I will relaunched north east cards, and stuff like this is good
