Who we have signed, who we have let go, and who we are in the frame for signing, are we happy with the signings and the letting go of's etc etc.

Been away for a few weeks (oooh look at me been away) and had no internet, so have no idea where SAFC is right now.

to be fair the official club website is a bit of a mare to find things like this easily without spending ages going through the news articles one at a time.

I sure there will be the halfwits who post (un)funny comments and the such like, so only sensible replies will be noted

We agreed a fee for Borini. He came up for talks. He's now in America mulling it over. And he got injured playing for Liverpool last night.
 
Very happy with the clear out so far, though there's still about five players we need to offload - problem is we haven't replaced the on loan players who we've lost and wanted to keep. So, we're left with a massive imbalance and probably in a worse position than when we were at our lowest level last season.

got to get some quality new blood in sooner rather than later, then I'll be happy.
 
I heard Borini say on Radio Newcastle this morning that he wants to stay at Liverpool, he doesn't want to leave. What is the point in trying to sign a player who would only come here under pressure? Move on, it's the only thing to do. He has said the same thing all along.
 
atm the only players we even have tenuous links with are borini (probably no), van dijk (expensive but a lot of ppl rate him on here), campbell (but noone sure if its joel or fraizer lol), rodwell (gone quiet on this), zouma (chelsea looking to keep hold now)

wickham still not signed on

n'daiye and cabral probably leaving at some point, very little intrest in graham

colback & scocco gone (tho i'm not sure scocco is 100% done deal yet)

oh and pantillimon, jones & gomez in

did i miss any?

It just goes to show whilst clubs can pressurise players to move they can't force them. Thus Borini can sit and see his contract out just like Colback and maybe Wickham and there is nothing clubs can do to change that.
