its the lack of changing is the problem. we all could see prior was struggling before the first sri lanka test but the clowns refused to select buttler until prior himself took him out.

I fear you are correct. Certainly, we seem to be back to conservative old-school tie selection/administration/management.
 
Still at a loss at to how Moores got the job again, particularly with better candidates interested. Cook should stay as captain a little longer due to the lack of any viable alternative, but Moores had better competition and still got the job despite previous failure.

was a strange decision to go back to him like.

do you think he was hired specifically to get rid of Pietersen ie, thinking that he would retire on his own before they forced him out?

they could have saved themselvs all the bother. nigh on everyone here, said the same things during his previous tenure. this is going the same way

moores is a county coach.
 
Last test match I saw live was in the late 60s at Headingly. England V West Indies. Buggers had to be on their toes back then or theyd be carted off to hospital..the English players that is..
 
the withdrawal symptoms have kicked in. i need a dose of test match action. three days to wait.

t20 middlesex v surrey will do tonight and it would be ironic if pietersen gets a big score
 
Feels weird a test starting on a Sunday - I know they are shoe-horning this series in but playing Sun-Thu and excluding the 2 most likely days for people to attend seems nuts.
