Down again. Absolute pisstake this. Was off for about 12 hours the other day. Never used to go down last gen. What happened to the power of the cloud:rolleyes:

Destiny beta online for 3 days and live goes down. Joke!
 


Noticed this as well. Didn't bother starting a thread as the Xbots would be out with their pitchforks at the ready.

It literally is the exact opposite of last gen. Sony now has the superior network infrastructure, which is quite embarrassing really since they mentioned it once at the PS4 reveal, whilst Microsoft hasn't stopped bleating about their server farm.

What's worse is that the dashboard doesn't even ask you to try and reconnect, or notify you that it's automatically doing so. It just tells you to choose a different network, insinuating that it's YOUR end, not Microsoft's.
 
ah I've not tried a game yet that will be why I thought it was ok , I'm just installing destiny beta at the minute
 
Seems fine now. Definitely was a problem as I went on the xbox status site and it said they were having problems with multiplayer games.
 
Anyone having problems tonight? I tried playing black ops 2 but it locked my 360 up. Restarted it and tried again, pressed the guide button and it said i needed to be signed into live then it locked up again....

That's down to the smartglass app being absolute dog shite.

Sometimes it works on my PC, sometimes it doesnt. Sometimes it works on my phone/tablet, most of the time it doesnt.

They seem to be adding more and more features to the Xbone without actually fixing the ones that are broken.
 
What annoys me, as far as I can see, is that when you are disconnected there's no where that you can attempt to sign in again. All it does is take you to the network options which doesn't help at all.
 
Must say I've never had any problems with live recently like.

In fact, don't think I've had any problems since getting the Bone either.
