Doesn't seem like enough in all honesty mate, what do you weigh?
14 stone 7. Bodyfat approx 16% (according to the scales in the gym so not particularly accurate). Last weighed myself a week past Friday.

When I first returned to the gym in February after 6 weeks off and started Stronglifts, I was 13st13lbs, and 21%.

How's this for naked ambition - got an additional 2x25kg weights arriving tmw in anticipation of a new deadlift pr on fri :)

That'll see me through to over 180kg. Bets on how long it'll take to get there?!

I started with 100kg, bought 2 x 20kgs since and can't wait til I need some more!

The diet of a former world record holding powerlifter from westside:

"Here's a rough example of me diet while at Westside

7:30am - 3 egg mcmuffin sandwiches 3 hashbrowns
10am - Wendy’s 4x4 burger and fries
1pm - Red Robin usually burger and fries or fish & chips
4pm - Pasta and meat
7pm - All you can eat buffet / Pizza
9pm - Snack food like a entire box or oreos or ice cream etc"

You lads both got home set-ups?

I know Jacksnuts has from when I coached him.

Sounds like me and my flatmate when our respective girlfriends both went home for Easter at the same time

He lifts as well and we decided it would be a good week to engage in that kind of professional diet.

If anybody asked I'd just say "I'm following Westside bro, this diet made world records"

Yeah, oly bar, bench, squat stands, 180kg weights. It's a basic set up but seen me through so far. Biggest downside is having to work out in the dark, dusty garage but i prefer the convenience

I mentioned on here I was toying with the idea of putting some money toward one when my mate bought a house. He'd have had space for one in an outhouse and would have given me a spare key for that for when he was away. Sadly the daft buggers he was buying off decided they didn't want to sell anymore. He's exchanged contracts on a new place now but no space for it.

Nobody asked. We didn't want to advertise the fact we were existing on a diet of burgers, fried chicken and cottage cheese straight from the tub

I had a period where I probably went to the chip shop every night, along with some ice cream. It was an expensive week more than out else

That is a point. It may be more difficult to eat in a manner that most people would call 'clean', but it's generally more cost effective to at least try to do it some of the time, I find.

Which is why my staple meals do usually contain things that are cheap but not processed, like rice and sweet potatoes.

I then pad that out with the high calorie stuff. For example, I've had a cheeseboard every day for the past five days. Stilton, langres, comete, manchego, camenbert etc'. With loads of olives and cured meats. Living like a king!

That's nuts!! That must take yrs of training to get to.
I thought I was doing well breaking 2xbw :(

He's only early 20's I think, not been training too long

Some people are just built to lift

Suck a dick front squats, suck a dick

well i got my meagre dead lift pr today of 120kg x 5, even though the rest of the session was horrible!

chalked up for the heavy set but my grip simply wasn't good enough and very nearly dropped the bar on the 3rd rep. switched to a mixed grip for the first time for the 4th and 5th rep and absolutely nailed it, piece of piss! looking forward to the next DL session now, its the only lift that isn't stalled!

Mixed grip makes a hell of a difference, I actually tried both overhand for the first time last session and struggled on my penultimate set and reverted back to mix!

Another struggle on OHP  but another PR on my DL 5x132.5kg ;)

I haven't tracked my macros for a couple of weeks and I've definitely relaxed my 'clean' eating, after nearly a year of tracking I've got a good knowledge of what my intake is anyway, is it a coincidence that I'm eating a bit more (shit) and feeling stronger?
(Apart from me OHP like!)

Also, done no cardio for a month!
