Second at ashbrooke? Geoff cook with the County Durham inadequates 11 ?

The second picture is probably the 1st or 2nd season of the Academy side taken at Ashbrooke. They would have been playing in the Durham senior league then.

The lads I recognise off the top of my head are, John Graham, Gary Pratt, Graeme Bridge, Ian Pattinson, Mark Symington. Is the lad 3rd from right in the middle of the front row Ian Hunter?

Yes. I'll post the full lineup later as well as a couple more pictures.

Jimmy Daley is right for the first one.

Used to bump into Graeme Bridge regularly at SAFC games, canny lad, very fond of a beer.

On another note, bumped into Harmy in my local on Saturday afternoon, he had been down to watch Bedlington Terriers FC play Newton Aycliffe.

Yep graeme bridge bottom right - played against him at ryhope as a junior cricker and junior school cricket iirc

Must have been around my era in juniors lgs that. Played with Bridge more than against as he was at a coast lg club. Played against him in schools cricket only I think. Was always a canny lad IMO.
Was Hewison at Horden? Don't recognise him but recognise name. Think pattison was a Murrow lad? Again played with him Sunderland schools but rarely against.
Pratt was aptly named as a young cricketer. Arrogant fuckwit. Sure he will have grown out of it by now.
The most talented cricketer Of this generation sadly didn't make this pic - Glenn Robinson who was brilliant for Philli RIP
Would onions have been at the academy at this time. Think he was a year younger than most of these lads.
One other thing, senior lg at time was considered strongest lg in area yet not that many lads on this pic are from senior lg clubs I don't think(I could be wrong)

half guess work here and may be a generation out here as cook looks a bit young but im going singh, arshad, cook, harrison, wood?, borthwick no idea aobu the little guy, looks too small to be pringle
