LVCC - Durham v Somerset

Freezing today at the ground.

I'd have taken 300 at the start so happy with that.

Not happy that the Easter Bunny wouldn't give me one of her eggs though.

Lucky to see any play mate, it's been pissing down in Cornwall all day.

Always thought Somerset had a good youth set up producing plenty of players, but yesterday they had 5 South Africans playing for them and would have been 6 if Alfonso Thomas was fit, at least Durham only have 2.

don't worry, im still on team brandy.

i miss the days of the LMC all stars.

fucked if i can even remember any of their names, poolynorm?

Aye, poolynorm was the 'skipper' iirc. Then there were the 'happy clappers' but I chose not to remember their names ;)

Trescothick b Onions 17 - GERRIN!!! 24-1

GET f***ing IN!!!!! Peterson edges Rushy to Borthwick to fall for 11!! 39-3.

The BBC Bristol bloke on about not staying in his hotel tonight, he's definitely my long lost twin. Pessimistic, miserable git :lol:

Mix up between the batsmen, could've ran either one out at either end, two missed whys at the stumps and 5 runs as a result of overthrows. Bloody circus

Kieswetter survives an lbw shout from Onions. Harrison on to bowl in place of Rushy.

Sloppy since the fourth wicket. Harrison already bowled 3 no balls. 71-4.

Arshad appeals for lbw against Kieswetter. Not given. 77-4. This partnership could hurt us.

YES!!!! Myburgh lbw Harrison 22. Just what the doctor ordered. 40 partnership is broken, 83-5.

Still no sign of Compton. Trego comes to the crease.

Durham convinced they had Trego caught behind first ball. Only the umpire who though it wasn't out.

Now a shout for lbw. Massive shout. Not given. So three balls of drama there. Only one wicket.

Well that didn't last long

Thought all that talk of a flat wicket at the Riverside yesterday was couldn't be right, especially not in April. Different wicket with two skilled expeirenced opening bowlers.

Trego always scores runs against us like.

101-5. Trego flying. Be lovely if we can pick up another before Lunch.

Borthwick drops Kieswetter off the last ball of the session. 117-5. Still plenty of work to do here.
