Can anyone do these, going to train hard this month to perfect it. Pretty good progression video.

Along with strength and body weight, technique looks essential.[DOUBLEPOST=1396542506][/DOUBLEPOST]just tried it at gym, very close couple of weeks i reckon I've got it . Attempt 1 . Fail

Piece of piss.......don't think its because I'm particularly strong mind, think its muscle memory from climbing about when I was a bairn

Used to do them reguarly a few years back, had a pull-up bar set in the hatch to my loft. Stopped doing them when I split my head open.
 
Cheers for the reply lads, would you guys say you weigh quite light? or is it your overall back and arm strength that's getting you up
 
It's all relative though. Body weight has little to do with the ability to lift yourself.

not meaning to sound argumentative at all Phil mate, but I completely disagree with that. Your body weight is your resistance, It's strength vs body weight

I know what Phil is saying.......I find it easier to support my weight than the equivalent on a bar/machine. Don't know why though

Does tha not mean your just much more stronger than your body weight? Its the arms that do the lift and the body that is the reaistant weight if you get me?
 
Can do them on rings but not bars which is frustrating as bars are more readily available, this seems to be a good progression though, I'll give it a go!
