Drinking after exercise

It might be due to me not drinking as much these days but I seem to be really struggling after a few pints on a night when I've been out for a big run in the morning.
Does anyone else suffer from this? I maybe don't eat enough before I go out due to not feeling like cooking anything.
I predict I'll be akip in the Chesters after the half marathon.

Various considerations, primarily hydration status

Obviously exercise can dehydrate you and alcohol suppresses ADH secretion, making things worse

From experience, mixture of fatigue, general tiredness, body recovering and hydration issues, as aforementioned. Also if you are a serious runner, it's likely you'll be extremely skinny and the alcohol will just move into your bloodstream quicker without much to soak it up. Or something like that.
