Thought the Yorkshire defeat would cost us last season but it didn't.

We have good players still to come back and if we show the spirit we have in this match we can make a good fist of retaining our title. Heading down on Sunday and looking forward to it.

I think that last wicket partnership and Mannone's mistake have absolutely crushed me.

I said at the time it felt like a defeat and I still feel that way now, but after a nights kip it's given me some perspective and the fact we were able to get so close to winning, in two sessions, on a featherbed, just proves to me that we're not far off. It's been a solid start, lads have scored runs and taken wickets and we're up and running.

Hopefully Sanga arrives in time for the Somerset game. One thing for sure, I expect the Durham pitch to offer a bit more for the bowlers. Although it has been quite dry the last few weeks. Think rain is forecast for Day 1, so might need wickets to tumble to get a positive result.

I agree, I think we will do very well this season

They only way we will suffer if is onions gets called up, I think we can cope without Stokes and Scotty

The bowlers will get stronger and stronger, imagine if that was at our place, would of won within 3 days
