I will always use a milkman, however, wish they would go back to glass "pint" bottles rather than the plastic ones you get from the Supermarket / Shop anyway.

I wish we still had a local butchers and greengrocers, used to get deliveries from them by a lad on a push bike. I am happy to pay extra for a service that delivers quality to your door.

4 days a week and it's from a local farm.
supermarket can be 3/4 days old before it gets on the shelf, drink for scratters.

I get mine delivered everyday, so do a lot in our street, especially the elderly who rely on the milkman, I`ve known the lad since I was a kid, so don't mind keeping him in business. The difference in him doing it or me going to a supermarket is minimal, so I am quite prepared to pay a bit extra for his service.

costs me £3.98 to have 6 litres organic semi skimmed delivered per week. 6 litres from waitrose would be about £4.80

plus you're supporting a local business, and a bigger percentage goes to the dairy farmer

Keeps the milkman in a job and keeps the tradition alive. Also the experience of it is more fulfilling in the same way buying an album as a hard copy is compared to downloading.

I get all my milk delivered.

I also get all my food delivered.

It's all delivered to sainsburys and I go and pick it up and pay for it there when ever i want.

Plus I had some of my best times whilst working as a Milk lad. Getting up at 5:30 every morning, doing 2 hours graft before going to school.
